Redeemed
Redeemed - how I love to proclaim it!
Redeemed by the blood of the Lamb;
Redeemed through His infinite mercy,
His child, and forever, I am.
Redeemed, redeemed,
Redeemed by the blood of the Lamb;
Redeemed, redeemed,
His child, and forever, I am.
Redeemed and so happy in Jesus,
No language my rapture can tell;
I know that the light of His presence
With me doth continually dwell.
I think of my blessed Redeemer,
I think of Him all the day long;
I sing, for I cannot be silent;
His love is the theme of my song.
I know I shall see in His beauty
The King in whose way I delight;
Who lovingly guardeth my footsteps,
And giveth me songs in the night.
words by Fanny Crosby
I have have been singing this song a lot recently. It is such a happy and delightful song, and it lifts my spirit on the hard days. These words have come to mind often lately because DaySpring has a new product line called "Redeemed." It isn't associated with the song, but seeing the products always brings the song to my mind.
The Redeemed collection is full of lovely and meaningful items. The collection contains purses and bags, jewelry, home decor, and gift items. DaySpring says, "The Redeemed collection speaks of how our loving Heavenly Father promises to bring all the pieces of our messy, disconnected lives together to make something beautiful. Elements from the patchwork design have been used to create gift collections that are bright, fun, and meaningful."

Last week, in the midst of all of the packing and moving preparations, I received a box from DaySpring with two items from the Redeemed collection for review. They even put in an extra item, a t-shirt, just because! The folks at DaySpring are just kind like that. It was perfect timing, because I had realized only a few days before that I was in need of some new nice t-shirts. I needed shirts that were comfortable resting in, but that I wouldn't be embarrassed to be seen in if someone should stop by for a visit. The Redeemed t-shirt they sent was a well timed gift, and it was a little blessing from the Lord.
The t-shirt was probably my favorite part about the package, but it's not what this blog post is supposed to be about, so on to the Truly Treasured Wallet and the Truly Beautiful Makeup Bag. They are lovely items! They are both made from oil cloth, which makes them easy to keep clean.
The wallet is unique, fun, and pretty. It is slim and slides easily into my purse. The inside zipper is not as sturdy as I would have expected, but I haven't had any problems with it coming loose. The wallet doesn't hold much more than some bills, change, and cards. If you need a wallet that holds a lot, this is not the one for you. However, if you want something that is slim and attractive, this is just right!
The makeup bag is quite big. If you have a lot of makeup or accessories that you travel with, this bag will serve you well. I am currently using my bag for some of my meds as we are travelling. I love having a pretty bag to put my medicine and supplements in. It brings a bit of cheer to an otherwise dreary task of swallowing pills and vitamins.
For the month of April you can receive 20% off of select items in the Redeemed collection. The makeup bag and wallet are two of the items that are on sale
