(in)joy with Chronic Illness

Hi Friends,

I am excited today to tell you about (in)couragers. Plus, I have a special invitation for those of you who live with a chronic illness.

One of the hardest things about living with a chronic illness is dealing with loneliness and isolation. We aren’t made to live life alone, but being tired or home-bound can make it difficult to connect with other people. I am thankful for the internet because it has given me opportunities to connect with others even when physically isolated.

I have greatly appreciated the community blog, (in)courage. They reach out to women, right where they are, with the love of Jesus. One of the unique ministries they have is (in)couragers online community groups. These groups provide places to connect with other women who love the Lord and who share similar interests, needs, or stages in life. Last fall I joined an (in)courager group for women with chronic illnesses, and it has truly been a joy to be a part of this encouraging group of women. They have been such a blessing to me!

Do you live with a chronic illness? Are you in need of encouragement for the journey? You are invited to join us in our online community group, (in)joy with Chronic Illness. We have saved a place for you!

(in)joy with Chronic Illness is a small community of women who meet in a private Facebook group to share the joys and challenges we face in living with chronic illness. We encourage and pray for one another. We share favorite Scripture verses, personal stories, and practical tips for making the most of life with chronic illness. We support one another through our words and our prayers, and we point one another to the hope we have in Jesus.
We are (in) Christ, and we share (in) community with one another. Living with a chronic illness is very hard, but we are striving to live with joy in the midst of these trials of life. (in) Christ we have fullness of joy; therefore we can live (in)joy with chronic illness!
Registration for the spring (in)couragers session begins today! If you would like to join (in)joy with Chronic Illness, you can sign up here. If you are interested in an online community group, but not one for chronic illness, there are plenty of other (in)courager groups from which to choose.

Does it ever seem to you that there are a lot of Christians with some type dysautonomia..

I am not sure if that is because christians with dysautonomia want to evangelize others

At any rate it is a blessing to have believers walking with us...

I know a lot of people with dysautonomia who have other faith beliefs, but I have met quite a few Christians with dysautonomia too. It is a blessing to have believers to walk this road with. And I'm so thankful to have met you through blogging! You have been a great encouragement to me. Thank you!
