Last week was a hard week. We all caught a bad virus and spent the week at home with fevers, coughs, body aches, fatigue, and a little bit of nausea to top it all off. Adelaide got sick on Sunday, and the rest of us soon fell like dominoes! It is the first time all four of us have been this sick at the same time. We are so grateful for those who helped us through the week by bringing food and cough medicine.
We are finally on the mend, and it feels like we are coming out of a fog. It is good to be on the other side of a bad week. We are gaining strength, and hopefully this week life will return to normal.
Last week I decided to take a picture of one thing each day that brought joy. It was a great way to count my blessings on the hard days. Here are my daily joys from last week.

On Sunday afternoon we enjoyed lunch at The Hub, a great little diner in southern Minnesota. It was the first time I had been out of the house in a month! It was wonderful to go for a drive, see the sky, and be out of the house for a couple of hours.

On Monday evening a sweet lady from our church brought a birthday supper over for Will. It was a wonderful treat for Will, and it was a special gift for me too. I'm always a little sad each year that I can't make a nice meal and dessert for Will for his birthday. We were all thankful for a delicious homemade dinner and cinnamon roll cheesecake!

My March Fair Trade Friday package arrived! I am keeping the "I love Fridays" key chain to use myself, and the lotion and necklace are going into my gift closet.
Fair Trade Friday is a ministry that I love being a part of. This is why I joined the club. Through Fair Trade Friday I can help to support women around the world who desperately need jobs. I can help to provide work for women rescued from sex trafficking. I can help mothers put food on the table for their children. It's a simple box of fair trade items, but it changes the lives of women and children around the world.

Pictures came in the mail! Shutterfly currently has a fantastic promotional deal that I took advantage of a couple of weeks ago. Customers who used their mobile app could get unlimited 4x4 and 4x6 photos for free! So I connected my Facebook account, uploaded all 146 photos in my album of The Great Adventure, and ordered prints. All I had to pay was shipping. This was a fun package to open on Wednesday.

On Wednesday night some friends brought over tortilla chips and a big pot of white chili. It made for an easy and delicious supper on Thursday. What a blessing to have homemade food brought to us during days when Will was sick and unable to cook.

I got up just in time to see a lovely evening sky. I stepped onto the porch for a minute for fresh air and an unobstructed view. Then I went back inside and sat on the sofa to watch the sunset. Will's dad brought supper over for us, and I felt well enough to join my family for supper on Friday evening.
