For those of you who don't know, SITS is a blog dedicated to helping bloggers connect with other bloggers. We're a group of people who like to visit blogs and leave comments because we know how important comments are to fellow bloggers! We support each other with lots of comment love.
For those of you who are coming to One Day at a Time for the first time, let me introduce myself. I am Rachel, a stay-at-home wife and mom. I am the wife of Will, and we are the proud parents of William, 4 years old, and Adelaide, 2 months old. I have dysautonomia, which makes daily life a challenge for me. Despite the difficulties I face, though, I am very blessed. God has given me a wonderful family and blessings beyond what I deserve.
I started blogging just over a year ago when I first declared correspondence bankruptcy. Blogging has been an easy way for me to keep in touch with family and friends, and a fun way to make new friends. I blog about my family, my health, life with a disability, and my faith in Jesus. Every once in a while a decorating post slips in too just because I like all things pretty and crafty.
Here are three of my favorite posts that will give you a glimpse into life with my family, my health, and my faith in the midst of it all.
And as I said, decorating stuff slips in sometimes too. :) Here's a chair that recently had a makeover.
Thank you for coming by to visit me!
Blessings,
Rachel

Congrats on your SITS day. I am familiar with POTS. I was actually misdiagnosed with it a few years ago. I have been misdiagnosed on several occasions because of my rapid heart rate. I was actually found to have WPW syndrome. It has to do with too much electricity bouncing around in my heart. I had a heart ablation and supposedly I am fixed now, but it has only been two months and it is slow going. I wish you luck and love in your journey. Your family seems amazing.
ReplyDeleteCongrats on being the FB and Happy SITS day to you ..
ReplyDeleteStopping by from SITS. You inspire me! Keep the faith, sister! God bless you.

Happy SITS day!
ReplyDeleteHi Rachel,
ReplyDeleteWhat a great day you are having! So many comments from all over the place ! I'm new to your blog and I'm having quite an educational experience reading about your condition. Its amazing that you have had the good fortune of having two beautiful perfect children. Its 2:30am for me and usually I'm fast asleep at this time but my 20 year old had a strange episode of fainting and rapid heart beat that required hospitalization on Jan 30th. Now we have seen a cardio yesterday for it and when I read your symptoms, they pretty much describe my daughter's. I am worried and cant sleep because he was not able to put his finger on what's causing her symptoms. She has low blood pressure and very rapid heart beats, dizziness, fatigue, more near fainting episodes, etc..well I will stop here but life is a mystery that I read your blog not knowing that it would reveal perhaps what my daughter has been suffering from for the last 2 weeks! God works in mysterious ways! God bless you and your wonderful family!
I have never heard of your condition... You have much grace and strength and it is obvious your hope is in christ. My husband is currently taking seminary courses from RTS and is transferring to Southern Baptist.
ReplyDeleteWe work with a Campus Outreach and are moving to DC this summer to partner with Capitol Hill Baptist.
hope you have a great day!
Just popping in from SITS. Congrats!
