William and Adelaide have a special bond. I love watching them become best friends. One evening Adelaide was fussy. She wasn't hungry. She wasn't sleepy. She didn't need a clean diaper. She didn't want her toys, and she didn't want me to hold her. I put her in bed next to her brother, and she immediately stopped fussing. William was exactly the person she wanted.
Adelaide, content as can be with her big brother
When we drive in the car William and Adelaide hold hands.
They love being together.
How precious! The brother/sister bond is indeed a special one. How wonderful that they have started it off so right so early!
ReplyDeleteThat's so sweet!
ReplyDeleteHow cute!! That really is a wonderful thing!!
ReplyDeleteThat warms my heart! I think sibings hold hands in the car if they've seen their mom and dad holding hands in the car ;-)
ReplyDeleteThat is so Precious!!! Even though they fight like crazy, and Ethan favors Amber over Elisa, Ethan still calls Elisa (Mywica- My Elisa), and Elisa will tell you "Him my boy!!"

Oh I'm so happy to see they have bonded so well. William seems to be not only a dream child from a mommy perspective, but a dream big brother too! I hope Juliet makes a good big sister when the time comes...but seeing this is very inspiring! Adelaide is growing up so fast and is ADORABLE!!!! :D
ReplyDeleteI always wanted a big brother! Of course, now that my baby brother is 17, I think I may be getting one. :-)
ReplyDeleteI see you haven't posted in a couple of weeks. I hope you are doing OK. Thinking about you and saying a prayer for you, my friend.

♥ Too Many Heartbeats ♥
Missing you! Hope you are OK!
ReplyDeleteI love watching my children enjoy each other. My youngest son climbs into bed with his big brother almost every night, and while big brother isn't always that thrilled about it, I just think it's so sweet. When asked, my little guy said, "His bed is base." :)
ReplyDeleteDropping by the @incourage birthday party link-up. Nice to meet you!
