Yay for perfect, free stuff! The pictures of William snuggling with you remind me of advice I received at my very first baby shower, which, obviously, I have never forgotten. She said, "Fill your home with laughter, for children love laughter as they love sunshine." I needed that reminder in my first, very difficult, marriage. Looks like William loves being with you. I'm glad you laugh with him.
Rachel, Those knobs were broken when I bought that trunk 35 years ago! They have lasted well. I like your "mistreatments" of William's windows. Cute! And now you don't need the windows blackened so much for an afternoon nap. :) Love, Mom

The knobs look like they came with the trunk! I'm glad William has a Fisher Price house too-- that was one of my favorite toys growing up. :)
