In January I was given some Frozen ribbon and asked to make some hair bows for the Awana store at our church. I was pretty excited to have a way to participate in Awana even while homebound! There was enough ribbon to make five hair bows, and I made each one slightly different from the others.
This one was Adelaide's favorite, but she didn't buy a hair bow at the Awana store. She bought bubbles instead. I was shocked to hear that bubbles won out over Elsa and Anna!
This bow is my favorite. If I was 5 years old, I would totally wear an Anna bow.
What have you been doing lately to keep your hands busy? I'd love to hear about your projects!
That's awesome!! what a great idea for the Awana store. Those turned out really cute. And as most little girls mine loves Elsa and Anna too!
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I do some crocheting to exercise my arthritic fingers, but not enough. I'm making a turquoise scarf now.
ReplyDeleteOooh... a turquoise scarf sounds lovely.
ReplyDeleteCute!!! I love making hair bows! That's what keeps my hands busy a couple times a week.
ReplyDelete<3 Sounds like a great way to be involved! I have been in the process of doing book/blog related things - slowly, but that's what I have been working on... Ebook is being edited, and will be released on kindle soon enough...
