Med Trial, Part One

I'm in the process of trying out a new medication. So far it isn't working out very well. I've been getting all of the side effects and none of the benefits. I'm extra dizzy and fatigued. I'm even sleepier than before. I'm having more headaches, nausea, and burning in my hands and feet. The past two weeks have been pretty rough. Will has been here to help me each day. He starts school on Monday, though, which would leave alone with a three year old during most of the daytime hours. Thankfully, my mom is coming to my rescue! She'll get here tomorrow and help me through the week as I adjust to the new medication. Praise the Lord for my mom.

  1. You're so much better at short and sweet than I am! :) I've been blogging a lot lately and mostly not doing email. I really love it a lot, and I hope you find it to be something that helps you too...
I'm so sorry about the med. I was completely unable to tolerate that medication also...despite hearing how much it helped others. I don't know if I had the numbness and tingling, but I didn't feel like I could have anything touching my body--not even sheets. It was very strange. As soon as I stopped the medication, that stopped. It was sort of a burning sensation?
I am so grateful your mom is coming to help you out. So grateful. I know how hard it is during the semesters...
Oh, and I'm leaving you comments just like you do on my blog--so that you can know I love you, I am thinking of you and you don't need to respond!!! Archive immediately!!!! :)
    Much love and happy blogging,
    Emily
P.S. I couldn't not check out your blog before I hit the sack! I want to get these cute backgrounds! Another friend of mine uses them and they are just so cute. :)

    I love you.

  3. Hi Rachel! Rebecca in Alaska here. I will add your blog to my list and check with you to see how you are. You are often in my thoughts and prayers and I really enjoyed my lacy snowflake on my Christmas tree this year!
Take care and take it easy.
