My Sneaky Son

Look at those eyes!
Doesn't William look just a little mischievous?

Here is a recent conversation that took place in our house:

William: "Mommy, are you finished eating your donut?"
Me: "No, I'm still eating it."
William: "Hmmm..... May I borrow it?"

I have been laughing ever since!

  6. "BORROW" it? Haha! That's a good one. Reminds me of when I was a little kid and my mom would "borrow" my ice cream cones to make sure they weren't poisoned. *sigh* such a selfless woman!!

  8. No donut is safe in our house! I believe one of the older ones would try to snatch it out of my mouth - but they still think I can take'm down - LOL

What a great quote - Can I borrow. . . your Dr. Pepper? Can I borrow. . .your breath mint?

    Thanks for making me smile:)

  58. Happy SITSday! You're right, the eyes definitely give his actions away! I have a son like that. Anytime he's going to be ornery, his eyes light up. They always have, since he was a baby. And he's a teenager now.

I've read through some of your other posts and just wanted to add that I admire your faith. It is apparent that it is real. I can't imagine what you deal with on a daily basis, but would hope that I could also continue to glorify the Lord in my thoughts, words and actions. That I would still know that He has only the best in mind for me. The post on your illness was very inspirational. Thank you.
    Blessings!:)
