Books for 2011

My brain fog hasn't been as bad recently, so I am going to try to read some good books this summer and fall.  I have finished reading The Chasm by Randy Alcorn and Betrayed by Stan Telchin.  This spring I read Fighting for Dear Life by Attorney David Gibbs III.  I highly recommend this book if you want to know the true story behind the life and death Terri Schiavo.

Currently I am reading If God Is Good by Randy Alcorn and A Walk Through Psalms.  Other books still on the list for this summer and fall are:

Instruments in the Redeemer's Hands by Paul David Tripp
Tortured for Christ by Richard Wurmbrand
The Cup and the Glory by Greg Harris
Lose the Halo, Keep the Wings: Great Advice for Minister's Wives by Virginia Wilson
Managing God's Money by Randy Alcorn

What is on your reading list for this year?  Are there any good books that you recommend?

  1. I recommend, if you haven't read it yet, Ann Voskamp's treasure "One Thousand Gifts."

I am currently reading "All That is Bitter & Sweet" by Ashley Judd.

  2. Funny, I got asked today what good books I've read this summer and ... the ones I've read haven't been "good" for the most part. They've been lots of brain candy, though I did enjoy "In Stitches" by Anthony Youn and "Discovery of Witches" by Deborah Harkness.
